The Boring Workshops expand to companies, making hands-on learning an employee benefit
When was the last time you had a spare moment at work and didn’t fill it by scrolling? In an age of constant pings and open tabs, even our breaks get swallowed by digital noise, leaving people overstimulated and strangely under-refreshed.
The Boring Workshops are a response to that problem. Created by Bored Peach Club, a Gozo-based artist collective, the online and in-person creative workshop series reframes boredom, slowness, and curiosity as practical tools for creativity, focus, and wellbeing. Instead of defaulting to doomscrolling, employees are invited to spend their downtime doing something tangible: learning a skill, making something with their hands, and reconnecting with curiosity.
“We believe that boredom is just untapped brilliance,” says Creative Director Ritty Tacsum. “By slowing down and leaning into stillness, we can find unexpected depth in our thinking and uncover ideas we didn’t realize were there.”
Bored Peach Club is now working with companies to offer The Boring Workshops as a new kind of employee benefit. Sessions are small, guided, beginner-friendly, and intentionally low-pressure. They work well as a wellness perk, a learning initiative, or a simple cultural ritual that helps teams reset and return to work feeling sharper and more energised.
Workshops are between 60-90 minutes long, and delivered through corporate membership options designed to keep admin light. Companies can choose between individual licenses or pooled credits shared across the organisation, and employees can book their preferred workshops directly at boringworkshops.com
